British Columbia, Canada (2007)

This journey was a true revelation. The country is so large and grand. The Okanagan is warm and soft, the Canadian rockies are rough and wild and the Pacific is something else again. Here lies the Burgess Shale, here swim whales and orcas, here lives the grizzly. Its people are from all over the world and manage to live together without those hostilities that plague many other corners of the world. A beautiful blend of old and new, nature and culture.
